The sneakers are durable, supportive, and easy to clean. The SuperReps are meant for group fitness classes — and they deliver on that promise with deathly precision. Sure, they may slow me down by a few split seconds on a TrueForm Treadmill than my go-to running shoes, Nike’s Epic React Flyknits, but the SuperReps compensate by making my landings on box jumps and burpees that much more friendly. They work well in the unpredictable situations that group fitness invites. Nike shoes run a little small compared to other brands of athletic shoes, but this doesn’t mean you should go for a big size upgrade. The difference is minimal and the size you wear in other brands probably won’t be too big or small in Nikes.

How much Nikes cost depends entirely on the type of shoe. A pair of men’s or women’s Nike shoes can cost anywhere from around $60 to over $200. Typically, though, the range falls around $90 to $110. Again, this is dependent on the shoe. Nike has made some shoes over the years with aims of lowering its price point. Nike Roshes are an example of this, as are Kevin Durant signature shoes. But other shoes, especially rare or vintage shoes, can sell for thousands of dollars on the secondary market. According to a patent dated December 10th, 2019, Nike is planning to tokenize the ownership of exclusive shoes. When purchased, shoes will become linked to a unique owner, all recorded via blockchain technology. The patent says owners will also be provided with added control of their footwear, with the capability to ‘breed’ custom shoes which can be manufactured to produce a tangible product.

The Air Zoom Structure makes a good pick for runners who need some extra guidance in their stride. This shoe provides it with Nike’s Dynamic Support system, a layer of firmer foam along the inside portion of the midsole that counters overpronation, and an overlay on the upper that stiffens the heel of the shoe. In addition, Flywire cables and a partial foot wrap give you a dialed-in fit, and blown rubber cushioning and a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot absorb shocks without sacrificing energy return.

Steamrolling into the ‘90s, Nike found innovative ways to advertise why they were the best at show – a tactic that remains essential to their continuous success – while expanding their product line tenfold. The addition of luminaries across a myriad of sports helped as well. Fast-forward to the present, and the brand still rests comfortably atop of the totem pole. If there’s rules to this game, Nike – as stellar a provider of performance shoes and apparel as it manufactures lifestyle items – wrote the manual.

Once signed up, parents will receive an email with a selection of more than 100 styles of Nike and Converse shoes from which to choose, which they can review with their kids. They then pick which shoes they want to receive, and these are shipped to the home in a box with the child’s name on it. This box also includes an adventure kit” filled with activities and games for parents to do with their kids, stickers, plus a small gift. The kit is created in partnership with the nonprofit KaBoom, which is focused on encouraging kids to lead healthy lifestyles.
